The month of August, so much fun!!!

Oh what a month! Dallin, Emery, and I were able to go home for a little over three weeks to visit family and celebrate Emerys 1st birthday. It was wonderful! We had a pizza night with the Yoshiokas and the Millers which was super fun, we took the kids to the slpash park and they had a blast. I was able to have a girls night in PDX at Papa Hydens with Holly and kayleen which was also a great time. MMMMM.... choclate hazelnut torte. Dallin and I were able to take emy on her first beach trip and she loved it! A true Washington girl! She sat on her bum and ate sand off her fingers and toes, so cute. Dallin was able to do lots of projects for the fam and that kept him pretty busy most days, however we still had time to go school shopping and have Emery awesome 1st birthday! Also Dallin was able to take me on a date to Binihanas and it was delicious! Emery started walking while we were at home which is a whole new adventure for her and us, she loves being mobile and is now to the point where she can run almost without falling down. She says "HI!" to everyone she sees which is super fun at the store and in church. People always looked shocked when they see who said Hi to them, shes so funny. Dallin heads back to school here in a couple of weeks so we plan on enjoying what summer we have left and maybe heading up to Yellowstone! We are all currently sick which seems to be something that comes with vacationing :-( but its worth it!
