Emerys big #2 (Dont be gross!)

Here it is, our little Emery is officially two, (although she has been acting like a two year old for a lot longer) it's official. Her birthday was on a Tuesday so we gave her her presents then and then had a jungle party for her on the following Saturday. All her little friends came and all our friends as well. Emery made out like a bandit with a life time supply of bubbles and sidewalk chalk (which you cant go wrong because she equally loves both). For her actual birthday she received an awesome magenta rocking horse from Grandma Sue which she appropriately named "horsey!". She had a blast both on her birthday and for her party. She is such a big girl and even blew out her own candles. We made her a monkey cake because she has this great love for monkeys which she calls "mimi's". Since turning two she has a growing fascination with picking her nose....and eating it. We are working hard to resolve the matter but so far no luck and she continues to think it's hilarious. The cake i cannot take full credit for, while i did bake the cakes themselves and helped to decorate, i had a team of girl friends(Jane, kelly, and Crystal) who willingly left there families on a Friday evening to come help make our baby girls cake the best it could possibly be. Thanks again ladies! The cake was devils food with a peanut butter butter cream in between the layers and milk chocolate peanut butter on the outside. Yummy! We had an awesome time and cleanup took a quarter of the time that setup did, but it was all worth it for that little smile. On emerys actual birthday, Dallin had to work so we went and setup her princess pool(from papa and nama) and had a lot of fun it that. We visited the ducks and the park the weekend before her birthday and let me tell you, those "duckies" as emery so lovingly calls them, are SCARY! They are a little to aggressive for my taste, one of them brushed up against my leg and i kind of lost it. It was a great couple of weeks and our little Emery is just continuing to grow and change more and more everyday. Enjoy the photos and videos, and we love you all!
