The Patterson Family Est. 2007: Week with Grandma (yellowstone,hiking,and such)

We had the BEST WEEK EVER while my mom was here. The first day i picked her u from the airport and we just kind of hung out, i gave her a tour of Rexburg and had a ball. Thursday we went to Mesa Falls and hiked, it was gorgeous! Then Dallin bbq'ed us up some really tasty chicken. Friday we went shopping(what we do best :-)) it was a pretty hot day, so it was perfect being in the AC of the mall. Also my mom was able to experience the thrilling "food court" at the Grand Teton Mall. hahahaha. Saturday we spent the whole day at Yellowstone which was AMAZING! I have never seen so many beautiful things in one day, the weather was perfect and we had a ball. We went to the town of Mamoth while in the park and while we were there, their was a group of about 30 elk, babies, cows, and bucks. Coolest thing ever, Emery loved it, she kept saying "hi cow!" and we got so close. Sunday we relaxed and tried to recuperate. I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, and brownies from scratch accompanied by some yummy vanilla ice cream. In between all those days when we had some down time we enjoyed the pool at my moms hotel! It was an amazing week and Emery had so much fun with Grandma Sue, so many fun memories. Today is Monday and my mom had to go home, sadly and now its back to reality where we are doing laundry and trying recuperate. It was all worth it though, so much fun! Okay so i dont even know where to start with the pictures of Yellowstone because u cant even capture the beauty of it all. Here we go...
