It would seem that moving is our families thing. We made the move back out to The Dalles in October. We are loving our new house...thats right a house! We have been so blessed to be able to rent a house instead a of an apartment. We love having our own home and all the work and bills that come with it. Our house is circa 1920 craftsman. It has huge windows, nice open rooms, and hardwood floors through out. We live down town so we don't really have a yard which is fine because we live close to several cute little parks. We had an amazing Thanksgiving celebrating Hollys first birthday and enjoying some quality time with my mom, her Mike, and my sister Cady. O I have to back track a minute. My sister Erin and her family came back from their three year stay in Germany. We were so excited to get to spend a week with them at the beginning of November and catch up. We hadn't seen each other at all in those three years and i cried like a baby when we met them in the airport. Emery had an amazing time trick or treating door to door for the first time. She was a mermaid which was super cute and she was very excited. Every door we went to she said "trick or treat" and the "oh thank you thank you thank you!" hahaha it was super cute. Okay now fast forward. We went and got our Christmas tree the second weekend after thanksgiving and it was super fun and very fast. Emery put the star on the tree and it was a very sweet moment. We have been enjoying snow and some cold but sunny weather. Just about a week ago Holly started really walking and she loves to say "mamma and mommy", she also loves her "daddy". Her and Emery love to wrestle and play tag. They are very fun to watch. Also Ms.Holly has some serious moves, this kid loves to dance! She will dance to any music anywhere, its very cute. Dallin and I had the opportunity to go to his companies Christmas party at this swanky hotel in down town Portland, it was super fun to get all dressed up and enjoy some "adult time" with out the kiddos. Thanks to Grandma Sue and Mike for watching the kiddos. We have been very blessed this year and are so happy to be all together as a family and to be able to enjoy the holidays in our new home. We wish you all a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Loves and hugs from the Patterson's
!
