I have to put a title like that to draw you in, i didn't think "Hanging out at Rexburg Splash Park" had the same thrilling effect as a title. However, we are embarking on many adventures in the near future which are super exciting and thrilling, but they are not here yet so therefore are not part of the post, except the baby. Emery and I have been trying to get out and enjoy what little summer we have here in the "berg" but i am not going to lie, chasing a toddler around the park in 85 degree weather when you pregnant is not super fun! However our little jelly bean loves the park so we do frequent it. I have been trying to take lots of pictures because she is so active and so funny watch, but our camera isn't really fast enough to catch all of her shenanigan's. Emery is defiantly a free spirit, very opinionated, loves to run and do her own thing, and is not afraid to wander out of your sight! Which is super scary! She has recently gained a strong affection for Curious George the movie 1 and 2 which Grandma Sue has already lovingly purchased and Salsa. She finds a lot of joy in climbing up on her changing table regardless of how many times she has been put in time out for the same offence. Now we are expecting another GIRL!!!! Our hopes are that this one will be a little more cooperative and obedient, but you know thats the beauty of what make Emery so special, shes a total pain in the butt but she is also the best smuggler and gives the best hugs and kisses you could ask for. There you go, Patterson baby is a girl and we are very excited! Dallin loves his girls although he was hoping for a boy, what dad doesn't? Boy do those daddys love there little girls though. We cant wait to meet her and see what kind of personality she will add to the family. Okay moving on, we had a great 4th of July weekend, Satuday we spent time together as a family and went grocery shopping and then had a blast at the park in the afternoon. Sunday we had our Fry Party which was awesome, but sadly i failed to get pictures. Monday we took Emery to the Parade here in town (which she loved!) then we kind of just relaxed and ate good food, spent time with friends, and enjoyed the day. Dallin and i were also able to celebrate our anniversary 4 YEARS!!!! woot woot! That was on June 23rd and we had sweet Ashlyn with us because her mom(crystal) was in labor. haahaha its funny how things work out. We had a blast though, the amazing Jane came and watched Emery, Ashlyn, and her little girl Addy so Dallin and i could go to the temple. Then we got back and Emery and Ashlyn went to sleep, Dallin and i camped in the living room. Dallin made me yummy chocolate strawberries and i got him a sudoku book and a "spiritual" book about golf! hahaha this years theme was fruit, books, flowers, and silk. I hate silk and told Dallin i didn't want flowers and i just bought the only book i had been wanting so i narrowed down the gift field for him. Ashlyn decided she was done sleeping at 1:45AM so i stayed up with her while she watched "Dora the Explorer" until 6:45AM when she finally passed out. I slept off and on in between 20 min. episodes, she always let me know when it ended. hahaha It was a wonderful and memorable anniversary and Crystal had a beautiful baby boy named Easton who is so sweet and cute. Now that thats all been said, here are a few pictures!

Pretty sunset!
Baby girl head shot, shes looking right at you and waving, thats her little hand up by her eye.
